Free Community Narcan Training by Tapestry Health at the NRC 6/11 2pm-3pm

Join us on Wednesday, June 11th at 2pm for a free, community Narcan training presented by Tapestry Health. All are welcome. Narcan (Naloxone is the medication that is used to reverse opioid overdoses and anyone can acquire it free, without prescription. Knowing about Narcan and having it available can help you potentially save another community member’s lives if you encounter someone in an opioid overdose.

What to expect:

  • Learn about what Narcan (Naloxone) is & what its used for & when to use it..

  • Learn how to recognize the signs of a possible opioid overdose & how to use Narcan to save lives.

  • Learn about the stigma associated with addiction, Narcan, carrying Narcan, & Recovery.

  • Get free Narcan to take with you!
