The NRC will be closed this Thursday in honor of Juneteenth, a now federal holiday. Juneteenth commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas, on June 19, 1865, when Union soldiers arrived and announced the end of slavery, two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation. 

With our closing for the day there also will not be an evening Game Night or Community Resource Assitance.
